Emily is an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a warm and authentic approach. She recognises that coming to therapy can be a vulnerable time, and provides a safe and supportive space to explore, understand and grow from challenges.
Emily has experience working with adolescents, adults, and families in public mental health services and private settings. She provides assessment and treatment for a range of presentations, including mood and anxiety disorders, adjustment difficulties, complex trauma, emotion dysregulation and interpersonal relationship issues. Emily aims to support people to develop a deeper understanding of their life experiences and learn effective coping strategies to move forward in their lives.
Emily is trained in a range of evidenced-based psychological therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Trauma focused-CBT (TF-CBT), and Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT). Emily is also an accredited provider of the Circle of Security Parenting program, which aims to improve attachment security and healthy relationships in families.
Emily is a fully registered and endorsed Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
