Kim is a genuine and warm psychologist who values the connection she is able to build with each individual. She acknowledges how daunting it can be to reach out for assistance, so aims to make each person feel welcome and at ease. Kim happily supports each individual along their journey, and feels privileged to be involved in the process. 

 

As well as private practice experience, Kim has worked in community mental health settings alongside people who presented with complex and longstanding mental health concerns. She has also had experience working in an early intervention setting for children with disabilities, a child and adolescent mental health facility and a gambling treatment clinic. Kim has experience working with a variety of presentations including: neurodevelopmental disorders, depression, bipolar affective disorder, anxiety, addiction, personality disorders, psychosis and schizophrenia. She has a particular interest in working with those who present with anxiety, emotion regulation difficulties, personality disorders and first-episode psychosis. 

 

Kim values creativity, flexibility and humour in her approach. She utilizes various evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Parent Management Training and Schema Therapy. 

 

Kim is a registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and is endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist. 

Kim is available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
