Catherine is a Clinical Psychologist who supports young people and adults. She offers a warm, respectful space where clients feel heard and understood. Catherine recognises that reaching out for support can take courage and approaches each person with care and gentle curiosity. She places emphasis on building a genuine therapeutic relationship and working collaboratively towards what is meaningful to each client.
Catherine has worked across both private practice and public health settings, including in drug and alcohol services. She supports people experiencing anxiety, low mood, trauma and PTSD, perfectionism, stress, OCD, addiction, self-esteem difficulties, relationship challenges, emotion regulation difficulties, neurodiversity, grief and loss, and adjustment difficulties.
Catherine draws on various evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Narrative Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
She is a fully registered and endorsed Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Macquarie University and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Western Sydney University.
