Fees & Rebates

At Drummoyne Psychology, our fees are set thoughtfully and reflect our commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care. We take into account our local area, the Australian Psychological Society’s recommended fee guidelines, and fair remuneration for our highly trained psychologists. All of our therapists are extensively trained and qualified, and we place strong value on ongoing professional development - so you can be confident you are receiving current, research-informed support.

Drummoyne Psychology is a private psychology practice and does not offer bulk-billing services.

 

Medicare rebates are set by the Australian Government, and if you are referred by your GP under a Mental Health Care Plan, you may receive a rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. We process these rebates for you at the time of your appointment.

Some of our psychologists also provide services under Workers Compensation schemes, where fees are set by the relevant government body.

Session Length
All sessions run for 50–55 minutes.

 

Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please do so more than 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours incur the full session fee, and Medicare does not provide rebates for cancelled sessions. You can cancel or reschedule via our Booking Portal, or by email, text, phone call, or voicemail. This policy helps us offer available times to clients who may be in urgent need. If you are unwell, we encourage booking your session via Telehealth to maintain momentum and avoid a late cancellation fee.

Clinical Psychologist

  • $255 during business hours (9am–5pm weekdays)

  • $270 outside business hours (before 9am, after 5pm weekdays)

  • $300 on Saturdays

  • Medicare Rebate: $145.25

 

Psychologist / Clinical Psychology Registrar

  • $240 during business hours (9am–5pm weekdays)

  • $255 outside business hours (before 9am, after 5pm weekdays)

  • $270 on Saturdays

  • Medicare Rebate: $98.97
