Ellena is currently on maternity leave and is due to return at the end of 2025.
Ellena strives to provide a warm, safe and supportive environment where she and her clients can work together as a team to overcome challenges and build skills. Ellena understands that each person is unique, with their own set of strengths and challenges, thus taking an individualised approach to therapy. Ellena is passionate about empowering people to make positive changes in life to find meaning, purpose and fulfilment.

Ellena has worked individually and with groups in a variety of settings, including private practice, medical centre, university clinic, and inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. Within these settings, Ellena has worked with adults, children, adolescents and families. Ellena is experienced in the assessment and treatment of a variety of presentations, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, drug and alcohol issues, post-traumatic stress disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and peripartum mental health issues.

Ellena provides evidence-based treatment, predominantly using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based CBT. Ellena is also experienced in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Focused-CBT and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Ellena is a strong believer in the power of human connection, placing the client-clinician relationship at the centre of her work with each and every person she supports.
Ellena is a fully registered and endorsed Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
