Clare is a warm and empathetic psychologist who values an authentic, client-centred approach to therapy. Guided by curiosity and an open mind, Clare aims to build a genuine and affirming therapeutic relationship and prioritises understanding each client’s unique challenges and strengths. Clare is passionate about creating a safe and collaborative space where individuals feel supported to navigate life's challenges and create rich and meaningful lives.
Clare has worked with individuals and groups in a variety of settings, including private practice, hospitals and university clinics. Clare enjoys working with adults, young people and children and is experienced in the assessment and treatment of a range of presentations including depression, anxiety, trauma, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem and stress.
Clare’s clinical style is flexible and individualised, drawing on a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
Clare has a masters degree in Clinical Psychology and is currently registered with the Psychology Board of Australia as a Psychologist. She is completing her registrar program in Clinical Psychology.
