About Eden

Eden Trevitt
Psychologist
BPsych Sci (Hons), BSci (Psych)
Eden is a Psychologist who provides warm, compassionate and evidence-based therapy for young people and adults. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change and is committed to creating a safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood and supported. Eden works collaboratively with each client to develop practical strategies, build resilience and help them achieve lasting improvements in their mental health and wellbeing.
Eden supports clients experiencing a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, body image concerns, personality-related difficulties and low self-esteem. She also enjoys helping people navigate life's challenges, including relationship difficulties, dating, parenting, career changes, grief, major life transitions, complex family dynamics and LGBTQIA+ experiences.
Eden has a particular interest in Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned eating disorder treatment and body image therapy. She is passionate about supporting clients to develop a healthier, more compassionate relationship with food, eating and their bodies while moving away from restrictive dieting and weight-focused approaches. She also has a special interest in women's mental health, working with clients experiencing concerns such as Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), postnatal depression (PND), anxiety and depression during pregnancy and early parenthood, and the emotional challenges associated with perimenopause.
Recognising that no two people are the same, Eden tailors therapy to each individual's needs, goals and life circumstances. She takes a flexible, person-centred approach, integrating evidence-based therapies to ensure treatment feels relevant, collaborative and achievable at every stage of the therapeutic journey.
Eden draws from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS). By integrating these approaches, she creates personalised treatment plans that help clients better understand themselves, overcome challenges and build fulfilling, meaningful lives.
Eden is a fully Registered Psychologist with the the Psychology Board of Australia. Eden has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours at Bond University and a Bachelor of Science at Macquarie University.
